2nd International Symposium on “Sustainable Construction”
Evento online
The 2nd edition of the International Symposium on “Sustainable Construction” is organized by the Department of Civil Engineering (DICIV) and the Department of Information and Electric Engineering and Applied Mathematics (DIEM) of the University of Salerno (UNISA), in cooperation with the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Riga Technical University (RTU), Latvia, in the framework of the Sustainable Construction Community events.
«Sustainability» is one of the world’s most talked about but least understood words. Its meaning is often clouded by differing interpretations and by a tendency for the subject to be treated superficially. Traditionally the concept of sustainability embraces the preservation of the environment, as well as critical development-related issues such as the efficient use of resources, continual social progress, stable economic growth, and the eradication of poverty.
Program
The Symposium scientific programme will include lectures from the following fields:
- Acoustics in Sustainable Construction
- Architecture in Sustainable Construction
- BIM in Sustainable Construction
- Environmental issues in Sustainable Construction and urban agriculture
- Radon in Sustainable Construction
- Structural Engineering in Sustainable Construction
A detailed program will be announced soon.
Partecipation fees
No fees are required for participating in the Symposium. The event is financially supported by the University of Salerno
